Job Summary

The Sales Manager holds a leadership role within Building Restoration Corporation. This person is not only responsible for their own success, but has increased responsibility for the success of the Project Management and Marketing team and the company. A successful Sales Manager will have mastered the art of sales and marketing and be able to develop the talent that will create an environment where the company can grow and prosper.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and lead the Construction Project Management team of 14
  • Collect job leads and distribute to appropriate project managers
  • Develop an annual sales plan in support of the organization’s strategy and objectives
  • Oversee project manager compliance with record keeping activities in company database
  • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business
  • Perform power point presentations to groups of architects, engineers property managers
  • Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific markets or geographic areas.
  • Create and expand BRC’s geographical footprint with outstate jobs and opening of offices
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with BRC’s overall strategy
  • Oversight of project budget creation, forecasting and adherence on all projects
  • Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with BRC’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing potential PM’s and training new sales staff, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Experience

10+ years of business development, marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in the construction industry. Leadership role within a construction company highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Apple applications
  • Familiar with input and extraction of customer data from database applications

  • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet major customers or open new offices
