The “work hard, play hard” philosophy couldn’t be more fitting for Building Restoration Corporation employee, Tony Selle.
At BRC, Tony works on a team of sheet metal designers who are among the top in the industry. In his free time, Tony races a 6,000-pound mega truck with 57-inch tractor tires that spin up to 90 miles per hour.

Tony has been racing mega trucks for 6 years and this season, BRC is going to sponsor Tony and his mega truck, Fearless. Mega trucks only weigh half as much as monster trucks but have more horsepower, which makes for a high speed, high adrenaline ride.
“Driving a mega truck is like riding a huge roller coaster,” Tony explained. “It’s scary when you’re on it but once you’re done you just want to keep going back for more. It’s fast, it’s terrifying, and I love it.”
Building Restoration Corporation President Dale Zoerb recognizes the value in supporting employees both at work and outside of work and says, “The reputation and success of BRC wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated employees. Our employees work hard for this company so it’s fun when we have opportunities like this to support them outside of the workplace.”
Tony is one of the most feared competitors in the mega truck racing circuit because of his “Fearless” style of driving. He has a reputation of pinning the gas pedal down and not letting up until he’s either won or his truck gives out on him. Due to his all or nothing style of driving, Tony wins a lot of races but has also put in countless hours making repairs to his truck.
Fortunately for Tony, working on his truck is just as enjoyable as racing it. Fearless is almost entirely made up of parts that Tony has built himself.
“My dad is a machinist so I’ve been working with machines ever since I was little,” said Tony. “I didn’t have the money to buy all the parts to build the truck I wanted so I thought, forget it, I’ll just build my own.”
Tony has gotten so good at making durable, quality parts that he now has people lined up wanting to buy his parts for their own trucks.
Thanks to Tony’s handiwork, Fearless is expected to have the most horsepower in Minnesota’s mega truck circuit this year. Building Restoration Corporation and thousands of others will be cheering Tony on as he races Fearless and proudly displays the BRC logo.
